Buzzi Company Picnic

The Buzzi Company, formally known as Lonestar had its 50 year anniversary this year. They celebrated with a picnic out at the plant with all the families. My Dad was so proud to show off his grandsons and show them where he has worked since before I was born. During the summers in college I was out there with him. It was a great summer job for me! We all had to wear hard hats, safety glasses and ear plugs. It is loud, dusty and hot out there! I have to say I have a lot of respect for my dad for him being out there for 30 plus years. I know he did it to give his girls the life he wanted us to have. I love you Dad!

My Dad and I on the plant tour.

Kyson was ready for his plant tour.

Kyson rode his first pony at the picnic. He loved it and we had no allergic reactions!

The Fire Chief came out with the fire truck and the kids had free reign to roam around and do what they wanted. Kyson LOVES flashlights so the fireman showed him every flashlight they have in the truck. They have a lot of flashlights.

Kyson loved driving the truck.

McDonald County High School Homecoming

If there is one thing I like just as much as college football it is high school football. I was so excited when my cousin called me and said her daughter had been chosen as Sr. attendant for McDonald County High. I have such fond memories of high school football games so we packed up and headed over to see her and all the excitement around homecoming.

It all started with a Black Hawk helicopter bringing in the game ball for the Homecoming queen. The boys thought this was awesome. They sat so still while the chopper was coming in to land.

My cousin Chelsea...she is beautiful.

I think the boys enjoyed their first High School football game. I am looking forward to them being older and building the same memories I did at high school football games.

Football Season!!!

Saturdays around here used to be all about football...until Breckin started to play soccer. Now we do soccer and rush home to start watching the best football game on TV. Even though we are in Arkansas we still love OU and the boys love to wear their jerseys and be just like Dad. They all looked so cute one day I had to get a picture. Boomer Sooner!!!
