Kindergarten Celebration

Tonight was Breckin's Kindergarten celebration. I can't believe he will be in first grade next year. He is growing up way too fast for me. The theme tonight was Aloha which the kids had learned meant Hello, Good bye, and I love you. Their songs were so cute and they were so into it. The put together a video of the kids during the year at the end with an emotional song which made me cry. I am very proud of him for finishing this year.

He had a little fan club which consisted of my parents and my Grandma (otherwise known as Nanny).

Our first official Spring Break

Brian traveled a lot to Mexico City during the month of March which me left with the kids during spring break. I didn't want to waste the chance to take the kids somewhere for a little vacation even for a day or so while Breckin was out of school. With Brian in Mexico City I thought it would be best to just go over to Oklahoma and spend a little time with the Grandparents. We went and stayed the night with my parents and the next day met up with Brian's parents at the zoo. The boys had a great time.

After the zoo we returned to Pryor to watch a basketball game between the local leaders in the community and a traveling team of college students called the Harlem Ambassadors. This was the boys first basketball game and I think they had a great time but only after they got hot dogs and candy thanks to the grandparents.

Sports Season!

Well, it has officially been 5 months since I last blogged. Not sure why...I have taken lots of pictures and just not had a chance to make myself sit down and do it. So I decided to start with what has kept us busy this spring season. Breckin has started baseball and soccer. This has been quite an exciting season for us with something going on almost every night but Brian would tell you that is the way I like it. The rain has kept us from playing lately and I have to admit I have enjoyed my evenings at home with the kids but I do like watching my little one out on the field. Here are some pics of our season so far.

New Year's!

So I had big plans to go to Tulsa and run a 5K on New Year's but Brian decided we should stay home. He also decided this at the last minute so we called some of our friends and asked if they wanted to come over and ring in the new year with us. It turned out to be a really fun night!

Alan brought over his Xbox with the Kinect dance game and Jimmy was dancing. This game was so much fun! I think we are going to have to get one.

I decided to try the dancing. My legs were a little sore this morning.

The boys even got in on the dancing action.

Christmas 2010

This year we were all sick before Christmas so I was a little worried that we wouldn't make it home. Brian and I were better before we had to leave but Breckin seemed to get worse when we got there. He rested most of Christmas day but seemed to take a turn for the better that evening. I was so thankful. We started out in Pryor at my parents house with my mom's side of the family.

My Dad with my nephew Myles. I just love this face. I promised my sister I wouldn't post it on Facebook but she didn't make me promise about the blog!

My sister and my Nanny

My sister bought us all matching pajamas. I don't think we have worn anything matching since the time our mom put us all in candy cane striped dresses with a painted picture of a fireplace on them. They also had bells on the shoulders. They were pretty sweet!

Breckin got Transformers and loves them!

Grammy's boys...Breckin wanted to play instead of take a picture.

Kyson got a harmonica...Santa must have thought I was a bad girl to punish me like that.

After we opened presents and Christmas morning and had the best biscuits and gravy ever (my dad is a great cook) we left for Tulsa to spend Christmas with Brian's family.

Breckin with his new OU sweatshirt...at least he was happy about that.

I think Christmas wore him out. He was so cute sleeping with his Thidwick that I had to take a picture. Hope you all had a great Christmas and were able to spend it with family.
